Have three or four pieces of work you can describe properly: the situation, what you decided, what you did and what changed as a result. Specific detail is far more convincing than general capability statements.

Prepare questions that show you have thought about the organisation's position rather than questions answered on the website, and be straightforward about what you are looking for next.
